AFRIMAB is a network that was created by the "Regional Conference for forging cooperation on Africa's Biosphere Reserves for Biodiversity Conservation and Sustainable Development" which took place in Dakar (Senegal) in 1996. The network aims at promoting regional co-operation in the fields of biodiversity, conservation and sustainable development through trans-border projects, which are primarily based in biosphere reserves.
This training was facilitated by the Southern African Wildlife College targeted on the Lubombo TFCA Security task groups; South Africa, Mozambique and Swaziland.
The Ministry of Environment and Tourism in Namibia has organized a one day workshop to provide training on use of the portal for their staff so that this tool may add value to their long term objectives of TFCA development. The training may be attended by representatives from KAZA countries.
