African Network of Man and Biosphere Reserves (AFRIMAB) SADC Sub-regional workshop

AFRIMAB is a network that was created by the "Regional Conference for forging cooperation on Africa's Biosphere Reserves for Biodiversity Conservation and Sustainable Development" which took place in Dakar (Senegal) in 1996.  The network aims at promoting regional co-operation in the fields of biodiversity, conservation and sustainable development through trans-border projects, which are primarily based in biosphere reserves.

Training for Portal Administrators & Online Facilitators

A two day training workshop sponsored by GIZ for SADC TFCA Network members who volunteered to administer & facilitate the Network portal.

Integrated Fire Management Training (pilot)

The new IFM-module that is currently being developed by a consortium of five training institutes will be piloted at CAWM, Mweka, Tanzania.

Cross Border Law Enforcement Training

This training was facilitated by the Southern African Wildlife College targeted on the Lubombo TFCA Security task groups; South Africa, Mozambique and Swaziland.

TFCA Portal Training in Namibia

The Ministry of Environment and Tourism in Namibia has organized a one day workshop to provide training on use of the portal for their staff so that this tool may add value to their long term objectives of TFCA development. The training may be attended by representatives from KAZA countries.
