CALL FOR PROPOSALS: IKI Small Grants: 3. Call for Proposals open from 15 December 2021 to 15 April 2022

Dear TFCA network members,

The German International Climate Initiative (IKI) announced its third call for proposals by IKI Small Grants is open from 15 December 2021 until 15 April 2022.

In a one-stage selection procedure, small regional, national and local organisations based in an ODA-eligible country (exclusive current and potential EU member candidates) can apply directly for funding of the implementation of local or regional climate and biodiversity projects. IKI Small Grants provides funding between EUR 60,000 and EUR 200,000.

The IKI Small Grants Programme is implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH on behalf of the German Environment Ministry (BMU) and aims to finance small, context-tailored projects while at the same time strengthening capacities of the implementing organisations. It is aimed at organisations with experience in local project implementation that want to expand their range, scope, and experience. This year, IKI Small Grants further explicitly encourages applications that refer to the current UN Decade of ecosystem restoration, promote gender equality and/or engage youth.

If you know inspiring non-profit organisations engaged in climate or biodiversity action that are registered in an ODA-eligible country and have had an average annual revenue between EUR 60,000 and EUR 500,000 over the last three years, please spread the news about this funding opportunity: https://iki-small-grants.de/current-selection-procedure/
