The Southern African Development Community (SADC) Secretariat through the Directorate of Food, Agriculture and Natural Resources (FANR) is mandated to coordinate the implementation of SADC Protocol on Wildlife Conservation and Law Enforcement.
Following the approval of various strategic documents by the joint meeting of Ministers responsible for Environment, Natural Resources and Tourism held on the 22nd of June 2023, FANR is convening the 40th SADC Technical Committee on Wildlife to assess the status of implementation of the approved documents. This meeting is further convened to take stock of progress made since the previous Technical Committee on Wildlife.
