As part of the Utariri Programme, which implements activities in the Zambezi Valley, including the KAZA, Lower Zambezi–Mana Pools, and ZIMOZA Transfrontier Conservation Areas, I provide technical support across the full research cycle—project design, data collection, analysis, and report writing—focusing on operations research, policy analysis, baseline studies, surveys, and literature reviews. I coordinate the development and dissemination of research-based publications such as policy briefs and opinion pieces, ensuring evidence informs policy and practice. Additionally, I develop GIS-based maps for project reporting and deliver capacity-building sessions on GIS to field officers, technical staff, partners, and other stakeholders. I lead three national Working Groups—on Human-Wildlife Conflict, Non-Timber Forest Products, and Agroecology—to foster knowledge exchange and cross-sectoral collaboration.
