Field ecologist with a PhD in Wildlife Management and expertise in biodiversity conservation, carnivore and rodent ecology, agroecology, ecosystem services and disservices, disease ecology, statistical ecology and spatial ecology. Research integrates long-term field studies, quantitative ecological methods and postgraduate training to address applied conservation challenges across protected, communal and agricultural landscapes. Key interests include community-based conservation, transfrontier conservation, wildlife economics, human–wildlife coexistence, and the sustainable use and extraction of wildlife resources.
