I have worked at the intersection of human rights and conservation since 1994 in Southern Africa. I have facilitated fair contracts between communities with rights, the private sector and state conservation agencies. I support a rights-based Community Based Natural Resource Management approach to conservation that redresses past injustices and helps communities to improve their lives.
