The Kavango Zambezi Transfrontier Conservation Area (KAZA TFCA) Heads of State Summit held in Livingstone, Zambia marked a significant milestone in the tourism industry with the grand launch of the new KAZA TFCA destination brand, “Kavango Zambezi – Rivers of Life,” celebrated under the natural richness of the region, highlighted the unique and abundant biodiversity that the KAZA TFCA encompasses.
The “Rivers of Life” slogan beautifully encapsulates the essence of this vast landscape, which includes five partner states: Angola, Botswana, Namibia, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. The region is renowned for its iconic rivers: Kavango, Zambezi, Kwando, Chobe, and Kafue which support an unlimited number of wildlife and vibrant ecosystems. This destination brand aims to spotlight the exceptional natural beauty and cultural heritage of the region, strengthening sustainable tourism and conservation efforts.
The launch event was attended by dignitaries and KAZA TFCA stakeholders, all of whom expressed their excitement and support for the new brand. With the introduction of “Kavango Zambezi”, the KAZA TFCA is set to attract tourists from around the globe, eager to explore its majestic rivers, diverse wildlife, and vibrant communities.
