CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: SADC TFCA Peer-to-Peer Learning Exchange on Human Wildlife Conflict and Corridor Management in the KAZA TFCA

The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) in collaboration with the KAZA Secretariat has a fully funded opportunity for 25 candidates involved in implementing Human Wildlife Conflict Mitigation and Corridor Management related projects/programmes within the Southern African Development Community (SADC)’s Transfrontier Conservation Areas (TFCAs).
Participants will include stakeholders from across the SADC region, including, but not limited to, community-based organisations (CBOs), non-governmental organisations (NGOs), private sector representatives, and government institutions. The selected participants will take part in a 5-day TFCA Peer-to-Peer Learning Exchange to be hosted within the Namibian component of the KAZA TFCA. The exchange is aimed at fostering knowledge sharing, collaboration, and best practices in human wildlife conflict mitigation and corridor management across the region.
This initiative is supported by the German Government and the European Union, which is part of the broader SADC TFCA Programme 2023-2033 to enhance Peer-to-Peer learning between TFCAs. The programme seeks to unlock the potential of human wildlife conflict resolutions and regional prosperity.
