The KAZA TFCA agreed on facilitating easy movement of tourist across the KAZA TFCA which is contained in the SADC protocol on tourism development. To achieve this,  KAZA Partner countries started a  pilot project between the Republic of Zambia and Zimbabwe. The  univisa pilot project was launched in November 2014 in Victoria Falls Zimbabwe. Recently at ITB in Berlin Germany, the Minister of Tourism and Arts,  Ms Jean Kapata from Zambia, and her Counterpart Deputy Minister of Tourism and Hospitality  Retired Brigadier Walter Kanhanga, from Zimbabwe held a press conference to publicise this development initiative. This development is envisaged to promote tourism growth in the KAZA region, and will be rolled out to other KAZA TFCA partner countries and eventually to the SADC region.
