Call for Applications: SADC TFCA Network Annual Meeting 2026 Skukuza, Kruger National Park | 9–13 November 2026
The SADC TFCA Network Secretariat is pleased to invite applications to attend the 2026 Annual SADC TFCA Network Meeting, to be held from 9 to 13 November at Skukuza, in the heart of Kruger National Park, South Africa.
This year's meeting brings together TFCA practitioners, government representatives, community leaders, researchers, donors and conservation partners from across Southern Africa

About the Meeting
Under the theme Investing in People, Nature and Partnerships: Scaling Impact Across SADC TFCAs, the 2026 Annual Meeting will take stock of progress under the SADC TFCA Programme (2023–2033) and chart priorities for the years ahead. It is an opportunity to connect with peers, share experiences from the field, and contribute to practical recommendations that will shape the future of transfrontier conservation across the region.
Sessions will cover a range of priority areas, including sustainable finance and resource mobilisation, community benefits and the wildlife economy, human–wildlife coexistence, climate resilience and connected landscapes, and regional cooperation on law enforcement and tourism.
Participants will also have the opportunity to experience the Great Limpopo Transfrontier Conservation Area first-hand, through a field visit in the Kruger National Park.
The meeting is hosted by DFFE South Africa and the SADC Secretariat, supported by the German Government and European Union through the Joint Action NatureAfrica / C-NRM Programme,
Who Should Apply?
Applications are open to TFCA Network Members, TFCA focal points and TFCA secretariats, national government representatives, community leaders, NGOs, researchers, donors and conservation partners working in or alongside SADC TFCAs.

Applications must be submitted via the online form at http://forms.office.com/e/Q8bfWrpyKb. Places are limited and early applications are strongly encouraged.
The deadline for first round of applications is 31 July 2026
