The intent of this survey is to identify specific interests and needs within these areas to facilitate targeted peer-to-peer learning exchanges. These exchanges aim to foster collaboration, share best practices, and build capacity among TFCA practitioners. By leveraging collective knowledge and experience, we hope to enhance the effectiveness of conservation efforts across the region.
The idea is that the peer-to-peer learning visits will focus on focusing on common topics such as Human-Wildlife Conflict (HWC) prevention, accessing carbon funding, livelihood generation (through climate-smart agriculture, fisheries, tourism), cross-border community engagement and wildlife corridor management in our peer-to-peer learning activities, in an effort to upscale best practises across the SADC region.
We are seeking to target participation from a diverse group of stakeholders involved in TFCA management and conservation, including: TFCA Practitioners, NGOs, CBOs, etc.
Your input will help us identify interests and design an effective peer-to-peer learning programme that meets the needs of all participants and contributes to the overall goals of the SADC TFCAs.
We thank you in advance for your time and inputs as you complete the following survey. Kindly complete the survey by Friday 05 July 2024: Peer-to-Peer Learning between SADC Transfrontier Conservation Areas (TFCAs)
