There is a lack of consistency with regards to traveller experience at border crossings in the SADC region, which constitutes a major impediment to tourism growth. The rationale for the consultancy, therefore, is to conduct an audit of tourist facilities, services and procedures at two SADC border posts and using the outcomes of the audit to develop a best practice guideline, including a remedial action programme to address shortcomings.
