The SADC has developed a program that aims to provide guidance on the establishment and development of Transfrontier Conservation Areas (TFCAs) in the region.  As part of this program, the GIZ project on the “Cross-border protection of natural resources in the SADC region” has commissioned a consultancy to:

• Prepare and facilitate a conference on innovative concessions partnerships for tourism in TFCAs.
• Develop sustainable tourism concession guidelines for SADC TFCAs, based on the conference and information on tourism concession models, experiences and protocols in SADC.
